Jennifer Tilly is a Los Angeles native who was born in poor conditions on the 16th of September, 1958. Her mother was teacher at a local school and was an unremarkable actor, while her father sold cars. Jennifer was the second child of her parents and frequently took her mother who worked as a schoolteacher and a theater teacher, to performances. She found her very impressive. When Jennifer was five years old she divorced her parents. Jennifer spent most of her childhood in British Columbia after her mom was moved to the province along with the other four children. Jennifer did not attend school although as a kid she was very artistic. In Canadian schools, her experiences caused her to be often the target of bullying. She began to lose interest in the theater during the time she was in high school. Her mother encouraged her to take on additional roles in different productions. Her mother encouraged her entire family to become passionate about art. Then, she began taking action.
